We represent developers throughout California, with projects in undeveloped areas, urban infill, redevelopment zones, former brownfields and adaptive reuse areas.  The services our common interest subdivision group provides are complemented by our real estate and land use groups which assist clients in a broad range of real estate and development matters.

We have extensive experience in obtaining federal, state and local approvals to develop and sell homes, and we regularly advise our clients on the application and use of available federal and state regulatory exemptions. Our risk management services include comprehensive buyer disclosures, advice on construction liability insurance programs and the negotiation of agreements with contractors, subcontractors, design professionals and other development consultants. We offer our clients a successful approach to the resolution of construction defect claims with trial-tested protective provisions in our project governance documents and sales contracts. We have developed successful strategies using nonprofit entities to fund community services, environmental protection and affordable housing programs.
