JDTP provided legal counsel to the buyer in connection with the recent acquisition by the Duncan McIntosh Company, Inc. from the Nielsen Co., of Editor & Publisher, a 126 year old leading trade publication in the newspaper and publishing industry called by many "the bible of the newspaper industry." Duncan McIntosh Company, located in Irvine, California, publishes several boating magazines and newspapers including Boating World magazine, Sea Magazine, and The Log Newspaper. The company also produces the Newport Boat Show and the Lido Yacht Expo, both held in Newport Beach.
