Scott Jackson Again Named a Southern California Super LawyerIRVINE, CA - Jackson DeMarco Tidus Peckenpaugh's founding shareholder, F. Scott Jackson, was named to the 2008 list of Southern California Super Lawyers by Law and Politics magazine. It is the third year in a row that Jackson, a nationally prominent real estate attorney, has been named to the prestigious, peer-reviewed list. The list also was published in Los Angeles magazine. "Scott is super by any standard," said firm President Ruth Mijuskovic. "His legal practice has blazed new trails and made him a national leader in common interest subdivision, while the firm that bears his name has become a premier full-service firm in California." Jackson chairs the common interest subdivision group of the firm, consisting of 15 of the firm's 80 attorneys. The group has created over 1,200 community associations for homebuilders and land developers nationally. He has authored several books and articles including three chapters in Forming California Common Interest Developments, published by the California State Bar. He also co-authored the book entitled Condominiums and Cooperatives with the Assistant Attorney General of the State of New York. He is described as a leading commentator by the California Court of Appeal and his writings have been cited with approval in several of its opinions.
