Jackson Demarco Signs On To Homeaid's `Essentials For Young Lives' Drive
IRVINE - Jackson DeMarco Tidus Peckenpaugh will be a proud participant in HomeAid's upcoming "Essentials for Young Lives" drive to collect donated baby items for homeless families in Orange County.
HomeAid is the charitable arm of the Orange County Building Industry Association. Its mission is to build dignified housing where homeless families and individuals can rebuild their lives. HomeAid partners with local nonprofit service providers and members of the building industry to facilitate the renovation or new construction of housing facilities for the temporarily homeless in Orange County.
"Daily, these service providers provide food, shelter, security and 'the essentials' to mothers and their children - one of the fastest growing segments of the homeless population," said Jackson DeMarco shareholder Sonia Lister. To further assist these service providers and the families they serve, HomeAid is launching a new program - Essentials for Young Lives -- to help supply the very essential items that, for some, are a sacrifice to obtain.
"So our firm, along with other local businesses, community organizations and individuals, will be participating in the Essentials for Young Lives drive," Lister explained. "Between April 28 and May 1, we will have a designated site at our office for employees to drop off donated baby items -- diapers, baby wipes, baby hygiene products and other essential items."
HomeAid Orange County will pick up donations from the participants on Friday, May 2.
