Kathryn M. Casey concentrates her practice in environmental law, CEQA, land use entitlements, water and air quality-related issues, and land use litigation and administrative matters. Ms. Casey has represented developers and landowners before City Councils, County Boards of Supervisors, Planning Commissions and other local agencies with respect to entitlements, permitting and other land use related issues.  Ms. Casey has also represented clients in litigation matters in the State and Federal Courts, Courts of Appeal, and the Office of Administrative Hearings. Ms. Casey is currently involved in air quality/CEQA litigation and other real estate-related disputes. Prior to joining the firm in 2004, Ms. Casey received her LL.M. in Environmental and Natural Resources Law from Lewis Clark Law School, and clerked for an international law firm working on environmental litigation cases. Ms. Casey received her J.D., cum laude and a Certificate in Environmental, Land Use, and Real Estate Law from Chapman University School of Law in 2003, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of Chapman Law Review and on the Appellate Moot Court Honors Board. Ms. Casey was named as a Rising Star by Southern California Super Lawyers magazine published by Law Politics Media, Inc. and Los Angeles magazine in 2008, 2009, and 2010.
