Daniel A. Friedlander has substantial experience representing clients in the development, building, and construction industries in transactional, administrative, and regulatory matters. He also represents clients in litigation before both state and federal courts. As former general land use counsel to one of California's largest land developers and as land use and environmental counsel to many of the nation's top home builders, Mr. Friedlander assists clients in navigating the complex maze of land use and environmental laws and regulations under the most challenging settings and circumstances. His practice also includes advising clients on the applicability of state and federal prevailing wage laws to construction and improvement projects.

In addition to his legal experience, Mr. Friedlander has a degree in City and Regional Planning and has practiced as a land use planner and environmental consultant.  He is also a certified member of the American Planning Association's (APA) American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP). He currently serves on the Executive Board of the APA's Planning and Law Division and is the Chairman of the Planning and Law Division's Fellowship Committee.
