Andrew C. Schutz concentrates in business counseling, financial restructuring and workouts, and negotiating and documenting business and real estate transactions. He has been a practicing lawyer for over thirty years, including seven years as general real estate counsel to the commercial real estate development groups of The Irvine Company and Pacific Enterprises, a Fortune 500 company.
Mr. Schutz also brings to the firm's clients the benefit of his experience as a senior executive in the real estate industry. He is a past president and chief executive officer of the Watt Industries commercial development group. In that capacity, he oversaw the development and management of commercial real estate projects with a value in excess of $700 million. He also previously served as a senior development executive with Pacific Enterprises as president and chief executive officer of the companys commercial real estate development subsidiary, Dunn Properties Corporation and was a senior real estate executive with The Irvine Companys commercial real estate development group.
Mr. Schutz also advises the firms real estate clients in all aspects of their investment and development activities, including entity formation, strategic planning, and the capital structure of ventures with land owners, financial partners and lenders.
